All of these photos are courtesy of Dr. Mark Rapoport, the co-owner of 54 Traditions, a gallery of ethnic art and antiques in Hanoi.  These photos are from his travels to the minority tribes in the northern mountains of Vietnam.  Several of the photos showcase “The Reading Glass Project”.  Giving inexpensive plastic reading glasses to elderly villagers enables them to contribute to the village life and to their livelihood.
